Just finished having small group tonight, currently going through Galatians. My group is awesome, great people and have some quality time.
Recently I had the honor and great privilege of joining the elite but growing club of PC users who first hand get to see a side of their computer yet very few walk away from healthier than before… yes, I’m talking about this:
Please do not scream, its just a picture of the “Blue Screen of Death”.
The Sad Ending: Yes, my little PC had enough of all the crap and attempted to end its half-life by committing cybercide with the aid of a malicious little malware program called “Antivirus XP”.
The Happy Ending: There is a happy ending to this story however, thankfully Rach and I had recently purchased a 500GB external harddrive and just the night before copied everything we wanted to keep just in case something were to happen. BAM! It did.
The Mega Happy Ending: We found Windows XP Pro & Office 2007 through Liberty University at student price altogether… $35, Rachel’s brother reformated the computer I loaded the software and voila, almost-brand new (and heck of alot faster) computer. We now use AVG to protect the computer from the evil schemes of programs like “Antivirus XP”.

P.S. cool points to whoever can first point out the 90′s culture references.
First I want to give shoutout to these two for blogging recently. Seems like forever ago we were updating almost every day… not every couple of months. In that same spirit I’m doing likewise. Recently, I’m looking at getting a bike, which do you like better?
Honda Rebel 250
I’ve been reading up on starter bikes and the Rebel seems to get alot of praise but the Vulcan has some good stuff too. Let me know what you think.

Rach and I flew back to ATL last night from spending a great week up in the frozen north. Minnesota has a ton of snow and ice which was perfect for snowmobiling. Great time. The night before we left we were visiting her grandparents looking at their family albums and I realized that I do not take enough pictures. They had pictures of people, places they lived, ect. This is something I need to totally work on. I suppose I hate looking like some silly tourist but the memories evoked from Rachel and her family during our time there was priceless. Seeing her parents when they were our age was priceless. My how people change.

Dan and I went to see I Am Legend last night. I was disappointed that it strayed from the book, it was a pretty depressing movie and the creatures looked like they were done by amateurs, too CGI’ed and not “real”. The book deals with the legend behind vampires (in the movie, they were savage creatures who ate people but burned when hit with sunlight), every night the vampires come to Neville’s house wanting to get him but he plants garlic and crosses all over the yard to keep them at bay. In the movie he hides out in a house and the creatures do not know where he is. In the book there was Cortman, the antagonist who continually calls for Neville to come out, in the movie, he does not exist. I do not want to spoil the ending in case the two people who read this decide to go out and see it but it strays from the book as well, big time. My suggestion, go to the matinee and save a buck.
