  • SIDEKICKIN’ IT:  Okay, okay, wow, such feedback about this Will
Yep, a gay lawyer.  Not to sound homophobic but it appears there
are no guys like me out there… maybe I need to go over to Hollywood
and set things straight, “gotta represent” as Sally tried
to teach me.  Maybe the idea of a conservative straight Christian
who’s going back to school just isn’t that comical… maybe I need to
enlist the aid of a trouble-making, weird lookinggoofy sidekick.  In something totally related, I am surprised that none of you mentioned this guy but this
Will has security issues by treating women like crap (ironically he
works as a janitor) and is brilliantly-gifted in Math.  Drop me a
line if you find any other Wills good or bad or want to apply as a
    sidekick.

2-0 RIGHT, GETTIN’ GOOD GRADES, FUTURE’S SO BRIGHT…Clemson came back from 10 points down to beat Maryland 28-24 on Saturday.  Clemson is
now ranked 20th in the country… wish the schedule got easier
but this Saturday 13th ranked Miami comes to town…
unfortunately Rachel can’t make it so I invited pastor Ken and he is
willing to step up to the plate. Kind of him isn’t it?
Speaking of Rachel, it was an awesome weekend to spend with her, we
watched 2 games, washed our cars, helped me study and introduced
her to the world of LOST… yeah its Monday, I’m in love ^^

  • WHERE THERE’S A WILL…:  As I thought today
about how many “Will” characters on tv today (obviously there needs to
be more) but then I thought about what each “Will” has undergone
throughout the series, let’s take a look:

    AliasWill Tippin
(Bradley Cooper) - As of season 3, Will who was
kidnapped, tortured, his girlfriend was killed and replaced by an
assassin clone who ended up shooting him multiple times, he survived
and is currently in witness protection as an architect named Josh.

    ReunionWill
(Will Estes) – Per episode 1, sleeps with his best friend’s girlfriend
(she becomes pregnant).  Same best friend runs over a
man DUI, Will steps up and takes the blame, serves 12 months in
prison.  Best friend’s girlfriend leaves for London.

Not a great trend going with my name out there in TV land  bummer.  Oh well, it’s Friday and I’m wearing orange.  #25 Clemson @ Maryland Saturday, high noon!  Go Tigers!!!

  • KILLER REUNION:  Wow, the season premier of the new drama, Reunion just
finished!  Looks pretty promising.  The basic premise is that
there are 6 friends who graduated high school in 1986 but sometime
between then and now one of those friends murdered another
friend.  Each episode takes place one year after the next…
interesting, plus it doesn’t hurt that one of the main characters is
named “Will”.  My name is getting recognition… sorry happy rant
^^  May my former co-workers out in Korea have fun with this bad
boy!  Miss you guys and gals (especially this fly white guy).

    PSYCHED OUT:  Well, true
enough, I bombed my Human Growth & Development test.  The
class average was a 76 and the prof – get this – was thrilled that we
“did so well”?!?! When was anything in the 70s considered a good job?
How did they get this loon teaching a psychology class?  So
instead of moping and punching holes in the wall, I spent the afternoon
    at the Clemson library
reading ahead of the class and taking notes.  Man, its been awhile
since I’ve had to take such notes.  I will not take this laying
    down… I will get an A

THE RUNNING MAN:  Well, taking aggression out at the gym has always been a pretty healthy option and so, as much as I would hate to outdo this person… running for 35 minutes, complete with crunches, pushups and eating mostly salads and drinking only water.  I’ve managed to shed over 2 lbs in 4 days!  Booyah!

  • GET LOST:  The first season of Lost
came out on DVD yesterday and guess who just happened to pick up a
copy?  Yep, me.  Oh I sense great jealousy arising from somewhere deep in the heart of Tennessee.  I saw the video and couldn’t help but once again think of some fine cats
in lands far away without whom I would have never discovered the joy
that is Lost.  Can’t wait until season two starts up in a couple
weeks… well until then Clemson plays at Maryland this Saturday… bet
you don’t know what I’ll be doing this Saturday?

  • VERY UPSETTING:  Happy Labor day!  Sorry Drew, looks like you wasted your bling, Miss Cleo was wrong, Clemson knocked
    off
17th ranked Texas A&M Saturday night on a last second field
goal to win 25-24 at home in Death Valley.  The game was an enigma
for me as the Clemson offense
never scored a touchdown and yet we still won.  Weird.  It
was Rachel’s first game at DV and in her own words it was “a cultural
experience”.  I agree.  Don’t worry folks, she had a good
time.  One of my favorite parts was the flyby during the national anthem.  Here are some pics I took from the game:

TOP LEFT: A sea of orange  TOP RIGHT:  Rachel and I proudly wearing our orange
LOWER LEFT:  All the Aggie fans sat right behind us  LOWER RIGHT:  Fans storming the field

After the game, my voice was as gone as
cookies at a Cookie monster family reunion.  It was great, and
here’s to continued success, Go Tigers ^^ BTW, if you want to do your
good deed for the day, go by this Aggie fan’s site and cheer him up.

    OTHER “UPSETTING” NEWS:

    • 16th ranked Auburn lost to Georgia Tech (shoutout to Richard)
    • 7th ranked Oklahoma lost to TCU (sorry Carrie)

As my voice continues to improve but squeaks like a teenager all over again, can’t wait til next game!

  • VOLUNTEER DUTY:  My cousin
and her husband, Curtis are huge UT fans.  If you are from
Tennessee then you are a Vol fan (unless you are this
person).  We watched the South Carolina/UCF game in HD on his 63
incher.  All he needs is a great surround sound and he’ll be set
for life.  Oh to be young and rich…

    SET FOR THE GAME:
T-minus 3 hours and 32 minutes til kickoff at Death Valley, oh how I
have waited for this day… my poor co-workers somehow tolerated my
enthusiasm.  Rachel is doing her best to grasp it… actually
she’s asleep (she’ll need all the energy she can get).  Football
is here and I’m in heaven, thoughts go out to this guy
as he’s in SK and can’t be here to immerse himself in the essence of
football that has come upon us.  Also, big-time sorry goes out to her,  Oklahoma Sooners lost to TCU 17-10.

    Prediction:  Clemson 31, Texas A&M 21

  • ITS OBVIOUSLY BUSH’S FAULT:
I heard on talk radio, someone made an excellent point, allow me to
paraphrase.  USA runs to the aid of countries when they have
natual disasters with money and help… who is running to ours in the
    aftermath of Katrina?

Its amazing to me to see people
actually blaming the president for this disaster?  These people
are of course citing how the US has backed out of Kyoto, increased
pollution which has led to global warming which produced Katrina.
However, their “science argument” is faulty.

Nobody has to wonder why the youth of today has a negative view of
politcs when all you hear about is the constant bickering and
infighting…  its a shame our leaders are no more than little
children.  I’ve learned one thing, despite my feelings about what
he did, I owe Bill Clinton an appology because republicans are getting
exactly what democrats faced with him… except president Bush hasn’t
    perjured himself.

    TESTING, TESTING, 1.. 2..:
I took my first Psych exam, I think I bombed it.  Many of the
questions came from the lectures and not from the book.  I
approached the prof after class about a week ago and asked her about
that very thing and I was told that most of the questions would be from
the book *sigh* I am not very efficient when it comes to taking notes
from a speaker unless I have some kind of outline to follow.  I
told her that I have already failed her class.  Afterward I had my
Intro to Computer exam, finished it in 10 minutes, and got a 98%
    Woo hoo!

  • CHICKEN SOUP:  Got invited
to head over to my cousin’s house for a fried chicken dinner.
Afterwards we’ll catch the first official college football game of the
year, South Carolina and University of Central Florida.  Pics to
    come!
