    Slippin’ down the slopes
    freezing in Minnesota,

  • MINNE-SNOW-TA
Safely made the 20 hour trip to MN.  It was a neat one, driving through the night.  Got to see the lovely ghettos of Indianapolis and Chicago.  11:56am CST and all is well.

    BAD HAIR DAY
Saw this at Mall of America… brrr… mullet… probably made this guy very jealous.

  • TESTING PATIENCE
Huzzah!  Finals are over.  With the jury still out on my Human Growth & Development (if I didn’t fail the class I am expecting a low D) and Medical Terminology, I finished with a B in Biology, an A in Intro to Computers.  For the past couple of months I’ve been thinking about switching from Physical Therapy Assistant to Network Systems Administration.  Rachel has been great in listening and encouraging me to keep seeking God in this in this decision.  I doubt anyone has a better woman that me ^^  I would appreciate your prayers in this matter as well.

    HEADING NORTH
In less than 48 hours I will be in a van with my girlfriend and her family for a 20 hour commute to the frozen… I will probably see this guy figure skating on the lakes in nothing but shorts and a wife beater ^^

    BTW (BY THE WAY)
The TV Guide channel is a little fuzzy due and as I was scrolling through the show “Pimp my Ride” came up and just glancing at it I thought it said, “Pimp my Bride“… ha… sorry I thought that was funny.

  • FINAL-LY SOMETHING YOU’LL REALLY LIKE
Tonight was Monday night Bible Study with an excellent group from
DCF.  One of the girls who attends is an R.A. for a freshman hall
and with it being finals week at Clemson, we all made exam study snacks
for them.  Wish I could see the joy on their faces when her girls
open their bags to see all the chocolatey junk food goodness we stuffed
in there.  Rumor has it that women have voracious appetites that
would rival any man when there are none closeby…

    READING BETWEEN THE “LIONS”
    Saw
“The Chronicles of Narnia, The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe” on
opening night, it was well done.  I confess that I was somewhat
expecting another LotR but I doubt you would get that sort of action
when one of the main characters was only 5 or 6.  Aslan was well
done and Liam did an excellent job speaking the part.
Huzzah!  Here are some pics from the Mall of Georgia, enjoy.

Rachel and I had a great time walking around the mall, I tried counting in my head all the posers but lost count somewhere after 350.

  • HAIKU FRIDAY
    O cruel Psych final,
    I most likely failed the class;
    why do I take you?

    DRIVING RANGE
Finished my Pyschology final, was not as bad I had thought… probably
got somewhere in the mid to high 60s.  When I handed in my exam, I
told the nutty professor that I’ll see her next semester.  She
gave off a little “aww” and tried to spring hope eternal by saying
“Well, maybe not.”    I failed the first two exams and
got a 77 on the third.  My class project however received a 95 and
I only missed one class.  I doubt the curve will bring my sorry
arse average up to an 80..  Tonight, Rachel and I will drive down
to the Mall of Georgia to meet up with some peeps from TFC days, walk
around and enjoy the peace of already having completed our Christmas
shopping can point and laugh at people who are rushing around trying to
fill up on junk to make their kids happy and then proceed to catch the
9pm showing of Lion, Witch and the Wardrobe.  The only down side
is that I have to be back in Greenville at 8:30am for a
breakfast.  I’ll be sure to snag some pictures for those who are
braving the blistering icy winter over in Taejon (can you say,
    Chic-Fil-A?). ^^

  • WITCH WAY TO THE BANK?
Went to see Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire this afternoon, it was well done (they stuck close to the book).  I cannot help but think of how much money Rowling has made off of this story… if you haven’t read the books they are quite entertaining (I wouldn’t suggest it however for anyone in regards to witchcraft being a stumbling block).  I’ve walked through several book stores and have come across several who have tried to emulate her success.  I suppose with the almost billion dollars (or euros) income, she would probably care less… now if you’ll excuse me, I have several books to copy… er write.

  • HOW DREAMY
Psychology finals… this week… must fight… on.  Yep, psych
class was totally unbearable yesterday.  The final is cumulative
*shudder* so try reviewing over 15 or so chapters in two days *double
shudder*.  As the nutty professor continued to fly through the
review leaving me feeling very dispondent, I started to day
dream.  A funny thing about daydreams is that usually one
daydreams to mentally leave an unpleasant situation to encounter a
better one… however for some strange reason during class I was
daydreaming about my old dorm staff meetings at TCIS… yes my pysch
class is bad enough to actually dream about those long 2-3 hour long
meetings.  Comments from my former co-workers?

    CAT SCRATCH FEVER
    I am feeling way better
however I have come to the conclusion that I am allergic to cats.
With Rufus shedding so much (apparently someone forgot to tell him its
Winter) and it probably aggrivated my respiratory system.  This is
tragic, how could I be allergic to cats?  I love cats *sob*
Maybe I need to get an allergy test.

  • HAIKU FRIDAY
    Got exams next week;
gotta make an A or B,
    so I don’t repeat.

Its almost time for Friday to end.  One week until finals *yay*.  I cannot wait to head up to Minnesota with Rachel (not this Rachel but this one)and her family… of course the weather up there has been less than friendly with all the snow flurries.  I just hope the 20 hour drive is nice.

    PUTTING AWAY THE LAPTOP
Santa made a early stop at the house to drop off my new desktop.  Rachel’s dad was awesome enough to show me how to install a secondary 80 gigabyte hardrive and pointed out all the inside components and ordered anothor 256 MB of RAM to bump the memory up to 512 (nice-uh).  Santa’s gotta love the rebates ^^
