MOURNING EDITION
This past week I had some serious allegations spoken out against me in order to destroy my character, integrity and ultimately my manhood. Allow me to set the record straight. Kelly Clarkson broke up with her boyfriend because it was in the newspaper next to the international current events. Well, now that I have learned my lesson I will return to reading only the front page, sports and comic sections (including Dear Abby) from henceforth. No more attempts to be Mr. Informed for me.
Other than weird, twisted and obviously less-better looking than me people trying to put me down, this week has been pretty good. Speaking of paper, I got my picture in the local Clemson paper *woohoo* Nana has already ordered several copies. Oh yes, its been forever since I last uploaded some pictures, here’s some sights that truly blessed me as I made my way to school yesterday.

GOING SOLO
I read in the papers that Kelly Clarkson recently broke up with her boyfriend. Later that night as I was driving home I listened to her song “Walk Away” in a whole new light. Can’t believe she’s only 23! Dang!!! Too bad I didn’t spend more time at the norae bong, if I had some great vocal chords I too would risk eternal humiliation from Simon at the chance for… *raises pinkie to bottom lip* one million dollars.
Speaking of millions, the SC lotto is now up to $300 million. I was almost tempted to buy a ticket but passed up the chance of a secure lifetime of ease for a bottled water instead. What would I do with that much money?
WRITING THE DAY AWAY
Reading Harry Potter has been a great break from the norm responsibilities such as school and work. I would love to one day write a story, a story about someone’s struggles in something and eventual overcoming but with loss of something else. Sound like a bestseller? I didn’t think so either. I walked into Books-A-Million the other day and seeing rows and rows of… well… a million books puts into perspective the competition of getting people to read your book. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.*

Time sings a fast tune,
when you’re getting married soon.
with stuff left to do…
Invites on my mind,
school & work I’m a tad behind,
good sleep I must find.
Yep, that haiku sums up this past week. School is going well, I need to study A&P more obviously but that will change… I hope. Working still at GeoTrack, its been good to learn more and they’re trusting me to do stuff… yes, I am important!!! Can’t complain.

HAIKU FRIDAY
Its payday how sweet,
my hard work really paid off.
Darn! The bank just closed!!!
I have missed the last two weeks of LOST… I have been so busy this past week with getting ready for tests and working that I haven’t been in the mood to waste an hour watching a show that I believe will never end (more questions than answers is wearing me down). Work has been great, got paid today… more than I thought so I am most pleased. My bank account has attritioned slightly due to ever-increasing gas prices but I’ve been diligent about saving. Its good to feed the account some healthy nouri$hment.

LIVING ON A PRAYER
Thanks, Bon Jovi! However, today is seriously going to kick my arse. A&P 1 exam going on in the A.M. fo’ shizzle… I sit at the dinner table lost in contemplation over the State of the Union speech as well as the recurring thoughts dancing through my skull, “Am I going to enjoy doing [physical therapy] for a living?” when I should be studying the text book. I doubt few people ever second guess their career choices. I read somewhere that almost 80% of people have jobs that are not in the field of their degree.
I have several people praying for me concerning this, I did not ask them to, they simply volunteered on their own volition and it was not said in a flippant I-say-this-all-the-time-to-look-really-super-spiritual, but they were sincere. I totally appreciate that. Great friends are there to help carry your burdens. Rachel and I read from Luke 6 over the phone but no passages jumped out to me… I hate it when that happens
