  • Tonight was our last small group for the year.  A mini-Christmas thing... afterwards I got my arse handed to my by Smed and Rachel at Ziggity.  The weekend is coming soon and we'll be heading up to my grandmothers for Saturday to rendezvous with my mom & dad.  They've been so good to us.

I finished "I Am Legend" a couple days ago and even though its a really short story (160 pages) its one of those psychological-horror books that tackles not only the horror outside but internally as well as the main character battles the effects isolation takes on him.  Imagine that you are the last person alive and everyone else contracted a disease that turns them into a vampire.  During the day you go out search for supplies and repair your home but you have to be inside before nightfall because all the vampires come for you trying to break in.  How would you survive?

  • hay will,
yah, we were almost gonna make the trip to new orleans, but i hesitated in buying those tickets and they skyrocketed. hawaii and georgia - that's like the story of my life. :) anyhow, we'll buy our hawaii paraphernalia and watch it in front of the good ol' big screen.

  • where will you be for new years day? the whole family is going to be down in gainesville where anna lives and will all be watching the game together. you and rachel should come! things are going okay - work is slow right now. I am torn, because i applied for 3 graphic design jobs that i saw on craigslist. I really like the projects at my current job, but the quantity is far too much. i get burnt out. i decided to apply because graphic design jobs are few and far between - so i thought I'd throw some resume out, expecting the process to take awhile as it does sometimes. Anyhow, a couple of hours after i sent them out I got an email from a publisher asking to see more of my stuff and then today, i set up an interview at Blue Ridge Outdoors Magazine. (reminds me of the outdoor club) Well it's all happening so fast and i'm getting nervous about interviews, new job and change. anyhow, we'll see what happens...maybe i should blog about it. :)
