  • Day 4 ahhhhhhh...

WELCOME TO THE EASTERN SIZZLIN':  Mmmm... the bolgogi buffet (as we foreigners like to call it) near Clover apartments is an interesting restaraunt where you have a buffet of all types of different meats like, beef, duck, parts of animals, and even stinky squid and other sea food products.  You gather it onto your plate and grill it at your table...  after you've killed the parasites you put it on this lettuce leaf with rice and a little bit of sauce to give it some tang then shove it in your mouth and commence chewing.  There are no chairs so sitting on the floors is reqired which can hurt the legs and/or back, plus its a bit pricey, but at 9,000 won and all-you-can-eat... its well worth it *drool*

Left: Ted, Tiece (who skillfully stole half of Ted's bolgogi during this shot) and Roger enjoy a good wholesome meal. Right: Mmm... fo sizzle!

MORE THAN MEETS THE EYE:  If you've ever seen The Italian Job, those cars that they use to make the getaway are Minis.  BMW has this cool website where you can design not only your own mini but a robot, check it out!

"...I shall call him... Mini Me..."

Tonight the last remainder of us who are still in Korea will dine with this fine lady and watch this show called "Lost".

  • good to see you've joined the fight against gas guzzing.

  • Cool pictures!! Where are clover apartments?  Hmmm...Songtan huh??  Which subway gets me there?  That will be my adventure next month maybe....  I found Kool-aid in walmart today, that was SO weird.  It just looked out of place among all of the Korean tea.  Actually everything American looks out of place, even in Walmart.....

  • Ahhhh!  The food looks so yummy.  I miss it oh-so-much.  The Nintendo Theme music has been redone, by various orchestras around the world.  Scores are randomly found on CD's  in the classical section.  But there is a few albumb out there dedicated to the great Nintendo era.  If you go to Amazon.com, look up Famicom.  You'll smile.  By the way, that mini cooper transformer owns.

  • ooh, apetizing =) thanks for the other sites. the counter-arguments will come in handy!

  • hahaha, I am glad you like the puzzle!  Sometimes it take a long time to load and I think, WHY DID I PUT THIS HERE.....  Anyway, if you told me what bong it's in I would probably not know anyway, I finally got a map of Daejeon that is in English but it is still sitting on top of my fridage, right where I left it.  hmmm...there was something else I was going to type and now I can't remember..... Ok, I might be back!

  • Ok, I remember now! Lost!  My roommate was totally addicted to that show (it came out a few months before I got here)  I was thinking about it all the way over here on the plane... "If I get stuck on an island with these people what would I do?"  Why do they make showes like that!

  • Cool, that sounds like a lot of fun... I understand wanting to watch American tv! I was missing it until I lost my cable and now I am just missing tv in general.  Oh and let me stop right now and apologize for my spelling of SHOWS in that last comment..... Where did that "e" come from?!?!

Anyway, that is cool that you all get together and watch them.  I used to get together with my brother and his friends to watch the simpsons in the states, it's more fun when there are more people to laugh/watch with.    Have fun!!  I have to clean my apartment....bleh..

  • Ok, sorry I am posting again, but just let me know when you have the picture up and I will add your name to my list.  The ahhh pictures go until thursday and then someone else is hosting/coming up with the picture idea.

  • LOST???? I LOVE LOST!!!!!

Actually, I'm a fledgling.  I watched the pilot at a friend's house and I'm hooked.  We're getting together for a mini-marathon sometime in the near future.  How's the rest of it??
