  • WEDDING PICS:  Rachel (foreground) is a bridesmaid at Dan & Amy's wedding.  She looks so beautiful.

And no, I wasn't "wedding crashing".

    GETTING SERIOUS:
Last night, Rachel came over and we had a very good conversation where
I shared about my dating history.  It was not easy but open and
honest dialogue with each other is pretty important to the both of
us.  She is very gracious.  Afterwards, we went out to the a
park with a duck pond with a back of saltine crackers and fed the ducks
and fishes.  I had two of the ducks eat right out of my
    hand.

    ON TARGET:  Saturday
afternoon went over to Target to buy school supplies.  Now I've
been out of school for two years and getting back into it is a tad
awkward.  Besides trying to find a decent notebook
without Spongebob Squarepants on the front cover, or worse yet, Bratz
*shudder*.  My dear xangan colleague writer, Christine
(who is also a world champion cow tipper from Nebraska), should write
    an
editorial about the image Bratz gives to little girls.  Check out
her site, she loves writing about things...um...er... taboo.
Shopping for this stuff amongst 7 and 8 year olds with their mommies is
very humbling to say the least.

  • Very cute picture! :)   I'm glad God always knows what he's doing and the He's leading our lives.  His paths are always so much better than the ones we often think are best for ourselves.  I think it's so awesome that you and Rachel are together and I hope it goes well for both of you!  God bless!
