  • HAIKU FRIDAY

    Peeps in Taejon work,
    after a short summer break.
    I did not get one.

502457_box_3 PACKING UP:  I am moving up.  Learning how to ship packages around the country and sometimes Canada.  For those of you who want to know why many sellers do not like to ship worldwide its because it means a lot of extra paperwork.  Sadly, a package to Canada which is basically a northward extension of the U.S. costs more and time to print up the right forms and make sure all the handling is done correctly.  Oh well, I am moving up.  Rachel has started back to school this week and seems to be doing okay.  She is in the class with nine tough mannerly-challenged sixth and eight graders.

  •  GOING TO THE HUKILAU
Had an amazing time at Bethany's family luau held in Gainesville Friday night. Much mahalos to her for remembering me. Ran into some old familiar faces. Said "old" person has been on my back to post pictures seeing as how someone forgot to change their batteries.

B's dad gave an interesting history of Hawaii.  I will share it in another post but it involves the Tower of Babel.

  • THE NEW DO
car I realized that I have slowly over the course of time drifted away from the orginal purpose of my blog: a vehicle to pursue knowledge and hilarity in my life.  So without further ado I give you my thought for today.  My wife can sure cook good.

I love to brag about Rachel's cooking to whoever is listening.  I told her after tonight that she could throw whatever is in the garbage can into a casserole and put in in the oven she would make it taste great!  She could give ol' Der Iron Chef or Hippie (whichever he may be) a true run for his money no doubt!  Bah!  I guarantee Rachel could take Jaime Oliver to the kitchen and beat him like a rented mule...  yes, you read that correctly I said, "a rented mule"!  You heard it here, folks.  That's the word.

  • HAIKU FRIDAY
    Saturday workday?
Bah!  Tis no such thing, I will
    count inventory.

    dwar-712231 WORKING ON A SATURDAY
Rachel has been under the weather lately so instead of traveling 5 hours south for the Gray family reunion Rachel will be in bed while I get to count our inventory stock... It'll be overtime but working Saturdays is not cool.  I was looking forward to haning out with Curtis and Richard but being married means taking care of wife when she is not well.  She offered me to go down without her but that would have cost me loads of points.  What points, you ask?  Well, when I earn enough points I can cash 'em in for the title of worlds greatest hubby, currently though I am still stuck on "Sugar Daddy" but that will change after this weekend, fo' sho!  Anyway if you stop to think about it, please remember Rach in your prayers.  Spread the love.

  • IMG_0257  ITS HARD TO SAY GOODBYE
I've been trying to sort my pictures during the last couple of days and
it is difficult as memories flood my mind as I look into the faces and
places I have seen over the last several years.  After
reading Chris' adventure through China, Mongolia and Russia on the Trans-Siberian Railway the travel bug has been buzzing around our apartment.  However, as Rach and I like to say "Someday when they build the dock that will build our ship so that it can cross the sea to come in" then we can do whatever.  Thank you, Dave Ramsey.  Because of you I'll be alot more wealthier in 40 years when I am too old to even consider flying anywhere *sobs*.

  • I enjoy my job.  It is not too taxing on the brain leaving me with ample about of time to thought wander while I work.  Yesterday I tried to solve some of the deep mysteries of the world, such as: why can't the mideast stop fighting?  What is God doing in my life today and what does He want me to do?  Lastly, were times really so tough for Laurence Fishburne back in the 80s to star in Pee-Wee's Playhouse?

If I ever dressed like that I think I would ask Tank to load the jump program too.

  • zidane29b I watched the final of the World Cup on Sunday at Curtis' house  (Good show Italy, bad show Zadane) and the infamous headbutt in the waning minutes of the final match.  This is comedy.  Some people have waaay too much time on their hands.

Work has been good but I have developed a pain in my knuckles from sanding and shipping the posts.  Praying for a healing would be nice.  Enjoy the clip.

ps. I did not make it.
